PS2 [R. I. P. ]USBUtil v3.0 Coming soon!

Hello, it is good to know this information, in many things you are right, for those same reasons that you mention I have never given the USBUtil sources, if you go to the history of PS2 USB you will see a hard work by many including me, who am Cuban, that under many difficulties created USBUtil in 2008, when USBUtil 1.0 came out, the world of ps2 was revolutionized by USB, ifcaro and dlanor began to work on OPL, two great ones in the history of USB on PS2, but USBUtil never got into disputes with anyone, Well, my task was to help the PS2 community not make disputes, PS2 users will go where it is most comfortable for them, so they will decide what to use, although you are right and the kings their crowns, I can not do anything, just keep helping, I do not see to ifcaro or dlanor here claiming nothing! They decided to give their code so that others could create modifications and that is what is happening.
All code for PS2 is under the hand of SONY, since they are the legitimate owners of everything, even the very name that the PS2 carries, so all action on a game is partly a crime, but that crime ceases to be when everything it is free and there is no profit on what we do.
Have all my appreciation, I am proud to meet people like you who have dedicated a large part to this great work that is the PS2.

Asere, me hiciste el cuento por teléfono en 2010... ¿o no te has dado cuenta aún de quién soy?

All code for PS2 is under the hand of SONY
Legally speaking, I disagree

ifcaro or dlanor
They are both retired, but dlanor is on our Discord from time to time

Anyway... try to keep USB Util 3 on the right path and please, don't make it "DB ready".
Make it just like I explained to you, the way my app does: https://www.psx-place.com/threads/popstarter-game-installer-for-opl.34243/
PS: You can download it even via mobile data, it is on a Cuban host of mine's so, it will be discounted from the 300MB bonus on the data plan:

Similar to FMCB/FHDB!

Just like HWNJ! :)

when USBUtil 1.0 came out, the world of ps2 was revolutionized by USB, ifcaro and dlanor began to work on OPL,
It was ifcaro working on the GUI (later joined by volca) and Jimmikaelkael writing the actual in-game-"core". ;)

two great ones in the history of USB on PS2, but USBUtil never got into disputes with anyone, Well, my task was to help the PS2 community not make disputes, PS2 users will go where it is most comfortable for them, so they will decide what to use, although you are right and the kings their crowns, I can not do anything, just keep helping, I do not see to ifcaro or dlanor here claiming nothing! Some stuff will become redundant anyway... :P

All code for PS2 is under the hand of SONY,
No... Just, no!
wLE, SMS, FMCB, FHDB OpenTuna and all the other things do NOT belong to Sony!

since they are the legitimate owners of everything, even the very name that the PS2 carries, so all action on a game is partly a crime,
No. That statement is false!

but that crime ceases to be when everything it is free and there is no profit on what we do.
Nope... It doesn't work that way!

Have all my appreciation, I am proud to meet people like you who have dedicated a large part to this great work that is the PS2.

Has something moved in the subject? Still no program available, no Beta version visible. Anything known about the approximate release time?

ISEKO's mother recently announced that she died from covid 19. He also stated that he will publish the final version in the near future.

Could you please post the original Spanish phrase?
That English "machine-translated" text could be understood as two things:

1 - ISEKO recently announced that his mother died from COVID19. He also stated that he will publish the final version in the near future.

2 - ISEKO's mother recently announced that he (ISEKO) died from COVID19. She also stated that she will publish the final version in the near future.

In any case, that's a really sad news...

OPL PC tools close to the standard OPL Manager. If only it'll be able to download images and cover arts the same way as OPL Manager does things, it's a great 2nd tool for this.
