PS4 Rebuild Database on JB ps4 makes games disappear...

So apparently i'm learning my first jb ps4 lesson the very hard way. It seems that the "rebuild database" option when using a JB ps4 is quite destructive.

I was trying to get one of my backups I was working on to work correctly, and I kept getting the CE-34878-00 error. I was reading about the error and some suggestions mentioned trying the rebuild database option.

Coming from the ps3 scene, it didn't sound like a destructive option to try, so I said what the hey...
It booted back up and I literally don't have access to a single FPKG that I had put on here previously. It's like when it rebuilds the database, it apparently only rebuilds it showing the licenced pkg's.

Well... F%$#. I'm open to hear any suggestions but looks like i'll be starting over with this tomorrow and re-installing every damn thing over again. Hopefully this helps someone in the future though. Still a lot of things fairly undocumented about this jb and how it works. Maybe this is one of them...

EDIT: Found the fix... very relieved this exists. Modded Warfare also has a great tutorial on this.

Actually, this database rebuilder could be integrated with Apollo (PS4), as I already have all the code to handle the SQLite databases... still, it would need a bunch of testing for each firmware before releasing or else I'd get a ton of complaints.

I'll keep it in mind for a future version.

This works yes i learned it the hard way too :D, if you have problem when you use this tool that you cant delete games anymore, dump your db.sql file with FTP and open it with SQLite editor, find value for installed or deletable i cant remember the name and change value from 0 to 1 for each game you have and put it back to console with ftp.
