PS3 Red blinking on start, constant

I have a PS3 CECHA with EVILNAT firmware, and I'm experiencing a recurring issue. Didn't have it before and didn't change anything in my system. Sometimes when I start the console, I hear one "turn on" beep, and then it starts blinking with a red light. If I turn it off and on again using the sensor button, it boots to the intro screen but then shuts down and starts blinking red again. However, if I turn it off using the power switch and then turn it back on, it works fine. This has happened twice this month, like 2 out of 10, so other ten times it started normally. I'm wondering what might be causing this issue.
