I feel like a complete idiot but am I missing a step? I can convert my games, install them, and they load perfectly, but I can't seem to press the start button to play a game. They will just continue showing the loading videos no matter what game or emulator I pick.

Do I need to do something to enable support for the DualShock 4 or else change the option button to be the start button?

left side of the touch pad is select, right side is start

Doing god's work here. Can't put into words how great your program is (even when I haven't used it, the concept is amazing and I'll find out by myself later).

Usually I'm making PS2 FPKG with All-in-one PS2 FPKG Cheats, since Codebreaker is the only easy to use cheating device available on PS4-PS2 games that I know of. With PS2 Classics GUI and everything. With this, maybe I can say goodbye to the old ways? The support for multiple .iso, custom settings, and most importantly, even custom memory card! Since this has something to do with what I'm aiming for next. With this, comes my question:

1. Latest Codebreaker (which I think is 10 or 10.1) is very much outdated. I need to be able to find a way to update the cheat codes. Atm I'm able to do that by using a save file in a .ps2 format memory card. A game I'm testing with is Dirge of Cerberus FFVII. Now, it is said on the PS2 Classics wiki that Jak v2 is not compatible with the game. I have tried to create and install the game, able to update Codebreaker codes, but yeah it's black screen in game. But, the only way to use a custom memory card is with Jak v2. Rogue v1 won't let me choose a custom memory card. Does anyone have a solution for this?

2. I'm searching online for PS4's PS2 emulation, about Jak v2, but I can't find anything solely focused on it. Can anyone tell/give me a link about it? What exactly is Jak and Rogue? How many PS2 emulators does PS4 have?

I think that's about it now, will post more when I'm stuck again. Any input would be appreciated.

each ps2 classic game come with it's own emulator. Jak emu is the emulator of Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy. Jak v2 refers to the one that came with the game update pkg. Rogue is for Rogue galaxy.

You can see that eboot.bin of each emulator has different size, if you open docs/revision.h with wordpad you can see the build date. it goes without saying that newer does not equal better.

First off, thank you for answering :flustered:

By that logic, does that mean there are as much emulator as there are PS2 classics?
And why this program, by default, only gives those two options? Does that mean those two emulators are capable of running most, if not all PS2 classic games? Or, PS2 .iso backup games disguised as FPKG?

Also, by chance you don't happen to know anything about my first question?

Yes.

Actually yes. Jak is generally last emu released (Jak2,3,x technically, but they seems to add only game specific fixes, and decrypted version is not public available), and Rogue is first emu released. That one is bugged, but since PS2 is weird beast that help some games.

Emus between that very rarely help to improve compatibility. Only emu that is worth testing beside 2 embed is KOF98 emu imo.
So there is no reason to add all of them to app, you can do that by yourself. Since this app support additional emulators. ;)
Just find emus online. and throw them to correct folder (check 2 existing emus for path example).

Thanks a lot, this is new for me.

Also, you're the one I'm hoping to answer here. Why is Rogue emu can't have custom memory card? Since I need it to update the Codebreaker codes list. Also, do you have a suggestion for an emu that could run DoC FFVII, while still having the option to have custom memory card?

Or maybe you have a better solution for this?

Why is Rogue emu can't have custom memory card?
This feature is just not available in emulator code. They added it later, probably in Star Ocean 3 emu, as that's first game which use it.

Sadly i have no idea which one can run it. On wiki there is a only note that Jak emu can't.

Thanks again for answering. It was running fine using PS2 Classics GUI, I dunno what emu that program uses?

So, might be my final question: What emus are capable of using custom memory card that you know of? I think I will test them one by one to see which could run DoC FFVII. And do you have any idea how to get the emulator files?

HELP!!
Where can I get the emulator for the king of fighters 2000 ps4, or one with legacy suport (ps3 control or arcade stick)?

Thanks for v.06 version.. Klonoa 2 is fixed ?!
The program can provide you with a more convenient way to make PKG, but it will not improve any compatibility. This requires you to have a certain understanding of the PS2 configuration and test and verify the configuration over and over again. This is not easy. This game has long been repaired by Kozarovv, but the texture of the cutscenes is lost, but it does not affect the game.
