PS3 Replaced HDD, installed 4.91hfw, cfw path is unclear

I installed 4.90 HFW, then used flash writer to install 4.90 evilnat CFW.

Then I upgraded the HDD. I figured I'd go through the same process again, but with 4.91.

So I installed 4.91HFW.. Then I went to run the flashwriter and it is blocking me because it requires I have 4.90HFW installed.

Am I better off installing 4.90 at this point or how should I think about it?

Wrong. You don't, because fw is not installed on HDD. Once You installed CFW, You are able to install any other from USB or HDD, in any version, and without exploiting (HFW+bgtoolset) console because she is already exploited (all patches applied which allows to install CFW past OFW 3.55).
