PS4 Resident evil village update

which version of the system does resident evil village require in version 1.00 of the game? I searched the PS4 PKG Database, and I couldn't find it..
 
I think that's a site to get official update pkg files from. I didn't search, but iirc, they don't say what the base game's firmware is. they may with each update as some sites only have the latest and the firmware required listed.
 
btw, I'm friends with defaultdnb, so I'm pretty familiar with his firmware checker. he's actually in my friends' list on the switch. :D
 
Hey, sorry, I'm new to this stuff. So my question is: isn't it playable with spoofing? Leeful HEN spoofs up to 9.00. I'm planning to buy the disc version of the game but if I can't play it, I won't.
 
indeed. in order for a game to be dumped, it has to be bootable. that's when it's in the sandbox mounting location. it's like a toc, where we ask samu to decrypt the files for us iirc. with that being said, you'd have to be on the firmware it needs in order to get the game to boot, so no it's not possible right now.
 
btw, samu is basically the security processor. we don't have control over it as of yet, so exploits allow us to ask nicely if it will do things for us, which it does.

To make it work in 7.55, you can only re8 pkg backport, as of today, you can't, because you can't extract the pkg to be able to do the backport until the 8.XX webkit comes out
