PS3 Restoring unsynced trophies on new HDD possible?

My PS3 slim died due to some GPU issue, it started artifacting all of a sudden. Luckily I spoke to a friend who had a spare similar slim model, which I purchased off him. I took my SSD out of the old one, put it in the new one, formatted and re-installed CFW. I did backup some configs and saved before I did that.

One thing I forgot was to sync trophies, so I have a bunch of trophies from binary domain, which are now not syncable as I will start with a fresh slate on my new slim. However I did backup the home dir. So the question is can I use something from there to restore my trophies?

I have files like TROPUSR.DAT, TROPTRNS.DAT etc.

I have also signed into PSN once, so I guess my system is registered with the same account as my previous one.

You will have to resign them, if possible (I'm not sure).

Changing the console also changes que act.dat file as well, which is used to validate signatures and licences.
