Hello
years and years ago i was used to play using AV-RCA cable and always worked fine.
here where i live i have a modern tv, with HDMI and only Scart so i was using a scart cable.
1) the first scart cable i was using was very used and show many artefact and also the purple screen;
2) i took the ps1 cable that always worked fine and also with that tv worked fine but since some days started to show more and more purple colour while i play, sometime is immediately and other time start to do it slowly but always do that !
What can be the issue ?
I don't remove it from the TV, I thought that on this television since the PS2 is at the bottom and the TV at the top this cable always tends to slip but despite having put black tape on the edges to make it fit tighter into the connector it continues to give this problem.
but on another TV it didn't give this problem.
do you have any experience ? could i fix that issue opening the scart and isolating the end of the cables with tape ?
