PS3 Screwed Up Delid

(sorry if i posted in the wrong place or if this is a common question)
I have a PS3 Phat CECHJ04 that I tried delidding (it had some thermal issues, got hot and ran very poorly). I took of the RSX IHS pretty easy (didnt do the cell yet), except that now it won't start. If I plug everything in, connect power and turn it on, it gives me the dreaded yellow light of death. This only happened after I delidded the RSX. I don't have a heat gun so I tried a hair dryer for like 10-15 minutes over the RSX but that didn't help. I'm quite a beginner here so can someone please help out?

P.S I've definitely learned my lesson here, and if required I can provide all necessary details.
 
It seems like I might have damaged the RSX somehow during delidding, is there any way at all I can fix this without getting a different MB or reballing it?
Also for some reason the IHS keeps falling off, how the hell do I fix that? I've applied thermal paste over the die already.
