Hi, I've bought a new Seagate Barracuda 2,5" sata 2000GB hd for Playstation 3 but it is incompatible with Playstation 3 slim and Super slim. Absurd. I don't know what to do. Thanks in advance.

you can't use disks over 1 TB on the PS3. (technically you can go up to 1.5 TB, but anyways, stick to 1TB and you'll be fine)

just keep this 2TB for a PS4, or get a disk usb case and use it as external backup.

Ok. Thank you very much. You recommend to use ex fat/ntfs or fat 32 for usb disk?

No, for native PS3 support just use FAT32 and MBR partition

other options are only supported by home brew

yes, I must use an usb 2000GB hd with hen. Fat 32 has 4GB single file limit. With ex fat/ntfs I must use prepiso. What do you recommend? Fat 32 for jb folders or ex fat /ntfs for iso? I'm very noob at moment.

Or You can limit its capacity by setting up HPA area.

It's true i'm using 2tb drive in CECH-25k, but i've had to limit capacity to ~1,75TB in hpa with propably hdat2 (i don't remember now).

I remember i've had little problems doing that 'cause i need to connect sata cable only, boot pc then wait few seconds then connect power cable.
