PS3 SIGN Required To Split PKGs

Hi i have a game that its up to 4gb its like 6.25gb and i have already signed it, but for me i dont like the webserver thing, i like to split and use a fat32 usb all time.
Now i have the game (6.25gb) + update + license, is it able to split a signed game?
And should i just split the game only without spliting license and update?
(This one may look funny but just im serious)

You can split a signed game without problems and you don't need to split the license and update as both are less than 4 gb in the most cases
