Smealum Reveals Title Of 3DS Exploit Game

I know this is a PlayStation site, but this is huge news in the 3DS scene and i thought it would have been posted here already.

The game is Cubic Ninja.
Do not look for the game online, it is over priced, some copy's are going for $100+.
Go out to your local games store and look in the pre owned section.

I saw that on twitter last night and i looked at amazon and ebay and the game was like $9. I checked it out again this morning and now their anywhere from 20-100. Crazy stuff. You know the extent of what homebrew can be run with this exploit?

Just called my local game stop and they're holding it for me. $4.99.

Not sure, there is an FTP server and i think a Minecraft clone, probably the same old Emulators right up to PS1 at least, not sure if N64 will work.
£100 or $156 is the highest i have seen it go for on Ebay.

The 3DS is a decent device, for games like Pokemon and Animal Crossing, which are really the only games i own on my 3DS, apart from some of the retro ones.

I'm sure we'll see a growing number of homebrew once the exploit is released.
 
Well, I picked up my copy of Cubix Ninja at gamestop today for $4.99. Gotta love it. Now we're just waiting on smealum to release the exploit itself.

i'll will tomorrow begin to start my 3DS Project (i'll get the package with the 3DS XL from my good friend Nzaki earlier as expected) so i hunting now too exploits for the 3DS :)
(need for now only a microSD Card for my gateway flash card :) )
 
the 3ds post 8.00 encrypts all functions including powering off. the ps3 scene will be my last, but I'm still trying to hack newer consoles for myself. I've done this hack as well as the wii-u one. soon, I'll be doing the vita. :-)
 
I've successfully installed gateway 3ds on my new 3ds using the cubic ninja exploit. back up ur nand before anything else in case something goes horribly wrong. the emunand, which will allow u to update beyond 9.2, is stored on the internal micro sd card. u actually need two of those - one internally for the emunand and one inside the gateway 3ds itself. u can backup saves as well as games within the gateway menu as well. the only disadvantage is that u must run the cubic ninja exploit to get into the gateway menu. there's a profile exploit on 4.xx fw that allows u to boot into the gateway menu easily, but u must downgrade ur console to do that. currently, u can't downgrade the new 3ds. also, there's a bug which the devs of gateway 3ds r aware of in which the top screen's video gets screwy. this can be fixed by shutting the system so that it goes into sleep mode, then opening it up again. they say they'll fix the issue in a future firmware update. I've only tested on game - bravely default - and it worked without any problems. just press select on the home screen to see a list of the games u have on ur micro sd card, then press A on the one u wish to play. this is very similar to the ps vita exploit in which a user exploit allows for a kernel one. do not update to 9.2+ or u'll be locked out of using the cubic ninja exploit. also, since u can update the emunand to the latest fw, it won't affect ur system's actual firmware which is y u can initiate the exploit. ur on a lower firmware than the emunand of ur gateway 3ds. :)

looks like I was wrong - u can downgrade the new 3ds. I'm still learning. it's essentially a series of exploits used conjunction with one another.
