PS3 Some Questions And Issues (Delid, Temps, PS2, Controller Support Etc)

So, I recently picked up, and jailbroke my 2nd PS3 Phat system (4.88.2 Evilnat), and delided my system, and I'm having some issues.

So, my main one is I delided my system to help bring temps down. I saw other people having this issue, and I didn't think it would happen to me, but after deliding my console, my temps actually went UP. Nothing significant, but still annoying non the less. Triple checked that the IHS wasn't sliding, and that it has full paste coverage. I'm using corsair TX30, which has a thermal conductivity of around 3.8. That's not a lot, but I'm sure it has to be way better than the original paste regardless. I want to say I need to increase my mounting pressure, but haven't seen good solutions for it.

Anyways, my next issue is straight up, I don't want to purchase a genuine PS3 Controller. I have a genuine PS4 controller, and it does work in all the PS3 games I've been playing (minus the PS button to open XMB), but it does NOT work in any PS2 games, tried all 4 usb ports too. I would really like to get a DS4 (even a DS5 in the future) working, since it's more comfortable, and I already have one on hand. Is there any good solutions for this?

Well it works with both, you can't get wireless with V2 of the PS3xpad. But to the OP if you have a v1 DS4 you can get a BT dongle and the pad will work the same way as a DS3. As for PS2 games unless it is a full BC PS3 CECHA/CECHB to play PS2 games your gonna need a legit DS3

I have a CECHA 01, how can I get a DS4 working on ps2 games?
 
I've tried DS4 plugged into all USB ports and it doesn't work for ps2 games.

Maybe I need to disconnect from BT?

My knockoff DS3 definitely doesn't work either

Once I get off this evening I'll plug up my PS3 and report back to you bud.
