PS2 (SSD) freezes when loading

hi,
i have a 30004 playstation 2 with lan adapter moded for sata and a crucial mx500 1tb ssd.
iam using the grimdoomer opl build with game id support for memcard pro 2.

i can load into my games but at certain loading points the playstation will freeze and the activity led will show a solid color for 10seconds or so untill the led goes off and nothing more happens. in cod 1 the game will freeze in the loading screen befor the first mission. in myst 3 there is also a "space" when i click to go there i get the freeze( can move freely in the "spaces" befor that specific one).

i tryed another: playstation, ide lan adapter, ide hdd, sata hdd. everythings works fine, no problems.
is my ssd incompatible or am i missing an option?

• You don't need any version with Game-ID support to begin with...
• Why Grimdoomer build? It is over a year old and it doesn't make much sense on a 1TB storage!
• I think you got one of the few incompatible storage-devices.
• Game Compatibiliy Modes exist.

because of the convenience of exfat, just drag and drop, no extra program

i have tryed the 6 modes but there was no change

i just did a format with hdd manager and tryed the latest build of opl (v1.2.0-Beta-2102-f3c8642) myst 3 seems to have the same fault(compatibility modes all on and all of) and cod 1 i was able to get into the mission( 2attempts both succesfull).
my confusion does not get any better xD

do you think the solution to my problem would be a known compatible ssd? can you recommend me one?
