Standby light flashing 60gb fat model

After some help again . 60gb fat ps3 model has a weird issue. Sometimes when I turn it off from xmb menu like 50% of the time. It shuts down beeps a couple of times and the red led just constantly flashes. To turn it back on I have to press the power button twice. After pressing it the first time it goes back to solid standby light.The 2nd press turns it on. Its not overheating as i've cleaned it out and redone thermal paste under ihs and above. Runs between 60-65c when playing games. It never shuts down on its own and fan stays at 30% always as it never reaches 68c

i had this happen to my CECHC02 back b4 i knew what Syscon or NEC caps were... (right back when i started working on these things so i handeled it completly wrong but fixed it in the end) it happened to me because i resurected my unit using a heat gun (dont do this ever.. i didnt know any better at the time) and as the caps started to fail again the first signs i got was exactly this, i hit it with heat again and it stopped. i didnt know it was the caps. luckely i didnt do any permanant damage to the unit

to fix it i replaced the NEC caps and it's been working great ever since (this was a luckey guess and i would never just go out and replace them again without diagnosing it properly)

i would recomend you check out the Syscon error codes to find out what the issue is when it's powering down, its most likley the first signs of a bigger problem, the beeping and flashing red light is a YLOD, usually you get htis on boot but it's a general error code so if you see it at any time it's time to look into the Syscon to find out why it's erroring and fix it b4 it gets worse
