SuperSlim - Weird Shutdowns

Hello,

I have a Super Slim (Cech-4004A) bought a few weeks ago and it has some weird power issues.

1st of all, when you turn it on, the led goes green but it stays like that for 5 minutes, not doing anything and then it starts like any other Ps3

2. this Ps3 is turning off by itself randomly. Sometimes could be after 4hours or 7 hours or even after 1 hour. It doesn't matter if it's in a game or on XBM (although in majority of cases is when the ps3 is idle on XMB, but I think that's just a coincidence).

But once it's doing this, he's completely dead, like there's no Electricity in the house (no red light and if the power button is pressed it doesn't do anything)

To restart it, the power plug needs to be unplugged and then plugged back in, and it will start like described above (5minutes).

Because if this 5minutes delay starting, it's impossible to access the recovery mode with this console..

Things I've done :

1. Changed HDD with a good working one
2. Tested with another cable
3. Updated from 4.85 to 4.86 HFW
4. Installed Hen and Multiman to check the temperatures - idle cpu 60 - gpu 62(Celsius)
5. Changed thermal paste to Arctic Mx4 and installed webman with fan to 35% -> drastically reduced heat to cpu 51 and gpu 52 idle (gaming cpu 60- gpu 62) - this console is not overheating
6. No Visible problems found on the motherboard or Psu.

I suspect to be the PSU, acting up and failing to handle the power.

Did someone else had a similar problem ?

I don't really know much about hardware and repair, but I have some ideas. I have a Raspberry Pi. I'll try to answer it by thinking about it. The cause of the problem may have been caused by too much. It's probably a low voltage problem.

One of them may be that the socket you are using is defective and gives high or low voltage.

Or it could be from power supply. If you look at the picture, you'll see that PS3 has a power supply, like many other computers and other devices. If you check it and decide it's broken, you can get some good ones online.
:encouragement: Good luck
