PS3 The OFFICIAL bguerville's PS3 Toolset is back online with a new official URL and 4.90 Support !!!

Last week, we seen developer @bguerville return, and he brought the OFFICIAL bguerville PS3 Toolset back online with an new official domain > ps3toolset.com .At first the developer brought back support for 4.80 - 4.89 OFW, but the 4.90 update was not ready quite yet during the relaunch of the website. After testing the 4.90 update, its now ready for a release and has been deployed at the new official URL (ps3toolset.com).

PS3 User's should be aware the ps3xploit team lost some of the domain's of their website's late in 2022. Currently the official team website is ps3xploit.me. The team lost it's (.com / .net / .org) domains and those are no longer owned by the team (read more here). Also, beware there are unfortunately a number of fraudulent / scammer's posing themselves as the PS3Xploit Team with cloned websites & domain's, .cc / .xyz are some of those fraudulent URL's posing as the team and/or hosting dangerous incomplete software. Take a look here in >this thread< from @esc0rtd3w in the official PS3Xploit Team forums here at psx-place for a listing of all the official domains of the PS3Xploit Team and status, always a good place to check (and spread the word) so you do not get scammed or get fooled into using something dangerous.

Now with the official bguerville toolset released and also an update to support 4.90 OFW (CEX) Support added also for 4.90 CEX/PEX & 4.89 PEX and for older 4.75 / 4.76 & 4.78 CEX Firmwares .

bguerville's does still have plans to introduce the next phase the PS3 Toolset in a future update with the File Manager and Registry Editor. Plus, developer bguerville has an upcoming announcement for developer's in the scene that could help various projects. Stay Tuned for more information on that project/service !!!!!

Many thanks to esc0 for his patient testing.

Speaking of which, bit by bit I am going to add support for older firmwares at least right down to 4.46 maybe lower if I can however esc0 cannot possibly test on all those firmware versions extensively every time there's a planned update roll out, it would make what is already a long and tedious job a nightmare for him.

Consequently we have decided that only 4.84+ would be thoroughly tested in next updates, older firmwares will only be tested once (when support gets added), users wishing to use lower firmware versions will have to be cautious and report potential issues that may arise after each roll out.

Problem on my end!
My model is supported, my OFW is supported, but during the initialisation process (near the end, actually), the console beeps 3 times (no visible light-indicators) and at the beginning of the init-phase, there is no plugin-load-prompt at all.

EDIT: Sorry. After some research, I realized that everything was working as it should.
