TIP: Installing All 'Package Files' from your USB Drive.

Have multiple Package files to Install and you do not want to stand by and wait to start each one by one. Well here is a few tips to hit install once and any homebrew pkg on the root of your USB Drive (Standard Location) will be installed. Then when you come back everything is there installed and waiting theon the XMB.

STEPS​
Package Manager​
1
​
  • Install a "Install Package Manager" such as XMBM+ or Rebug Package Manager

  • Highlight "Standard Package Location"
3
​
  • Press :but tri: and select :but x: on "Install All Packages"
4

  • Now all your PKG's in the "Standard Package Location" (dev_usb000/) will install.

Alternative Method (qa Flag)​
1​
  • On the PS3 XMB Highlight "Network Setting" menu located in "Setting" Column.
2 ​
  • Now press and hold this button Combination :but l1: + :but l2: + :but r1: + :but r2: + :but l3: + ::dir down:

  • Select the "Install Package" Option (All packages in /dev_usb000/ (the root of USB Device) )

which of these should i install on darknet cobra "XMBM+ or Rebug Package Manager"
also can someone kindly point me to a link where i can download the one that will work best with DARKNET 4.66 CEX V1.02 [COBRA EDITION].

install package files on qa toggle menu (system debug settings) installs all package files too :)

@STLcardsWS Did it Method can work on OFW 4.82 or CFW only , i test it for multi PKG in usb flash in OFW 4.82 and not work is there away to do it in ofw 4.82

I fairly sure if you was to edit your category_game.xml to include the normal "install pkg files" entry, instead of Package Manager, then it would work.

You would need to delete all this section at the bottom of the xml:

Could u help me to do that i don't know how i can get original entery to add it i sucess to edit category_game.xml to add enable han (off line ) script in it ?

Thank u for replay, i will test it but Did it will install Han PKGs and Debug PKGs normal as the old code and why ps3xploit team not using that code it will be easy to do multi install at once time if it work ?

I don't think that is possible, its a patch that switches between the 2 types, like a switch, it cant be set to allow both at once.

You will need to separate your packages. Keep the HAN packages on root, Just make a folder and dump all the debug packages into it, then the "install package files" wont see them as it only checks root. Then enable HAN, install the HAN packages, then put the HAN packages into a folder and the debug packages on root and enable debug packages.

This is tested on Rebug and "Install all packages" option is WORKING, Not sure if it will work on OFW.

so can we make Install All Packages Work on OFW ??
 
okey bro hope it work because with Package Manager i face error 8002AE32 if this category_game.xml work than you save our times by waiting package installing until complete then click x to install the next .... etc

TBH Im not sure if it will work, its possible this feature needs QA flag enabled or some other patch. Worth a try though.

i when i activate QA Flag in cfw frimware it work i install infamous 1 and 2 and watch dogs package with Install All Package Option hope this xml save us

You will need to separate your packages. Keep the HAN packages on root, Just make a folder and dump all the debug packages into it, then the "install package files" wont see them as it only checks root. Then enable HAN, install the HAN packages, then put the HAN packages into a folder and the debug packages on root and enable debug packages.

Doesn't look good then. Doubt it will work now. It must need QA flag or something..

I will test your file hope it work. Or hope someone to give away or help us to run it normally without QA flag if it dosn't work ? Because QA flag impossible for han ?
