I hadn't used any of this in so long & wanted to make sure I have everything up to date.

Can't wait to see what kind of new info you have to share. I've been watching the ROP videos, they have me excited to play around & learn something new.
 
i'm the only one having problems with youtube since yesterday? mine doent load at all, it stays in the youtube logo
 
with psn store nopsn we can download all games and dlc for free ? or what we can do with ?

Of course not.
A nopsn pkg does not enable piracy. It's only meant to enable you to use an app without having to be connected to PSN. Nothing more.

And if ever the most recent nopsn hack eventually evolved & led to enabling piracy in such a way, it would never be released here as psx-place.com has always followed a strict no piracy guideline.

Moreover, technically I doubt that a viable & lasting hack like this is feasible unless kept utterly private. A public release would be more than likely to trigger a somewhat justified (although I don't feel it's that clear cut tbph) but lashing response from s#ny, most likely with the support of game makers/editors.
It's one thing to hack a console & enable it to do stuff that should always have been enabled imho but it's another altogether to start messing with anyone's commercial platform like making PSN a free for all.
Ultimately any such release would get patched quickly in one way or another & anybody attempting such a thing would better remain anonymous or prepare for an army of lawyers up his arse.. Lol
Very few people are skilled enough to put together the hack you suggest & they would not be daft enough to make it public unless they had other motivations...

just to add to @bguerville well formed response :cool:

the nopsn version of the PSN store is more of a Proof-Of-Concept than anything. it does not do anything except force you into guest mode and make you exit!

the debug versions also are for pure experimental purposes and testing

Hello, can someone patch the new Amazon Instant Video 4.03 PKG ? Or can someone make a short description how and which file must be modified that the Amazon Instant 4.03 App work with no PSN ? Greets and Thanks

I updated to Amazon Instant Video 4.03 from 3.XX yesterday and decided to try to patch it myself. I didn't know that there already were NOPSN versions of 4.XX.
Took me a couple of hours but I managed to circumvent the PSN check. The only file I had to change was the eboot.bin.
When I found out that there were already patched 4.02 versions I wanted to compare what you guys changed compared to what I did, but when I took a quick look into the pkg I decided it wasn't worth it because there were quite a few changes from 4.02 to 4.03: There's no more ignition.self and the eboot.bin grew from a couple hundred kb to 7 MB.

Interestingly, I was also only able to bypass the PSN check, but not the PSN sign up prompt :)
But after skipping the message prompt it works for me.

It's due to restrictions placed on all new members because of bots & stuff. Don't worry though once you've accumulated a few posts those will be lifted. ;)
In the meantime, if you need to post a link, you could just place some spaces in your url so it doesn't get detected as url..

thanks..i havent looked at changes made yet. i unpacked pkg and loaded eboot into IDA to see anyways, i will see about patching and post offsets.

if you would like to post offsets that you patched, that would be cool also.

i have started messing with Amazon 4.03 EBOOT (@10010001 i still have not checked your edits yet lol its more of a game for me and i wanted to see if the old hack worked!)

the old method i cannot tell exactly if works because for some reason i always have resigning issues for Amazon lol
