Hello. Recently, I have updated my console that did have HEN prior. it was running on version 4.90. I have updated it just today with firmware 4.91, as of 4 August 2024, using the storage media method, with the firmware files released from Sony officially. I was aware that HEN would be uninstalled as i updated to the newer firmware. However, I was unaware that by watching some methods, and reaching the part where you drag the PS3UPDATE.PUP (that was sandwiched between the UPDATE and PS3 folders) and then having the PS3 console to detect it in order to install, unfortunately did not work.
it gave the error "No applicable data was found" I tried different solutions. I downloaded another copy of the update just to be sure and renamed exactly as it was before, nothing. I formatted the USB with Rufus, with the MBR partition scheme and everything, also did not work. I changed the files to a different USB, also did not work. I am running out of options and I have no idea what to do. Some help would be really really appreciated.
