watching with interest
not understanding too much but just wanted to say cheers for the HEN 3.01 egg test
i am forever going back to my pc after a black screen and a restart and when i turn back to the ps3,
thats the moment this really would help.

I'm trying to install my mod, and always gives me Not enought space (via ftp it workes and got plenty of free space), after trying to reduce it the max possible and still giving erros,

I relealized that

dev_blind with a lot of free space, that i can add a lot of things without erros via ftp

and dev_REWRITE WITH JUST few kbs left, how could be this possible?

even the installar targetting the dev_blind it sees the dev_rewrite free space.

EDIT:

Seems like the dev_rewrite is fixed at 3mb, since my rcos adds more things but they releases space as some of them are lighter and others is 0 file, just the 01.p3t the dev_blind keeps increasing the free size and dev_rewrite decreasing O.0

maybe i wil add 3mbs in one and the rest in the other, so i can avoid the errors.



EDIT HAVING 3mb in dev_blind and the rest in dev_rewrite did the job.

ohh yeah, you cant use flash for all those lol.

use hdd

dev_blind and dev_rewrite are both mapped to dev_flash as r/w?? They should match. Are you mapping dev_blind somewhere else?

@LuanTeles , I wonder if you'd have issue augmenting the size of the vflash? this is possible to do. in fact, I think someone on devwiki created one that was 40GBs. I think it forces a format of the hdd though. I don't think anyone would wanna do that, but it might be interesting for tests.

Nah i'm using a pure hen.bin this time.

Yeap this is strange, but i also realize that via the XMBM+ intaller i can't create flash folders, i can only add things to existing ones

i spend all day trying to free space but this was the problem (facepalm:), more or less the same problem when you create a folder via ftp and can't delete it, only by reinstalling the firmware.

if i create the folder first via ftp it installs just fine

Someone help me my hen is freezing and when it shows that im on 3.0.1 and webman activated it wont shows me "do you want to close the navigateur" please a solution

Make an empty boot_plugins.txt in your usb device and attach it before enabling hen

lol DID you turn off the closing confirmation option? if no, turn it off, but confirming should work in the same way

is also the priority? because i made a lot of mods using the custom_render.sprx

they works good by reloading the xmb, entering and exiting video apps, but it crashes when exit a game

so i think it is doing a incomplete remap, (when exiting a game, it calls the sprx before the remap) so it crashes the system.

it is just speculation


EDIT: I made it on slot 0, still crashes after exiting a game;

EDIT 2: Same thing using Webman Remap =(

there is no priority. Thats why i said that was just to test the egg
