i would like to install the latest version of Evilnat 4.89.3, should be updating directly or i need to downgrade to OFW 3.55 and then update to latest version ? and which version should i use that would be great for my console ( CEX - DEX - PEX - DPEX ) ?

Thank you so much

The latest version is 4.91.2. Evilnat 4.89.3 was in beta but eventually cancelled because OFW 4.90 was released - which was 1.5 years ago. There's no point in upgrading to it, because a lot of CFW functionality has been added since then.

Do not install OFW and do not downgrade to 3.55, there's no need. Just put the new CFW on a USB and do a system update. It's that easy, however -
1. Make sure automatic updates are switched off, so you don't accidentally end up with OFW and have to perform the jailbreak again.
2. Make sure there's no PS3 game disc in the drive, because they also contain firmware updates and take priority over USB.

Regarding the version to install - Since you've converted your system to DEX, you would probably want to install D-PEX, which is Evilnat's equivalent to Rebug D-REX. PEX and D-PEX are identical - the only difference is that PEX can only be installed in CEX mode and D-PEX can only be installed in DEX mode.

I would recommend Rebug 4.84.2 DREX. then just setup webman

You could also do evilnat 4.91 DPEX or whatever the latest version he has. the only cool thing about his cfw is his the expanded cfw tools (xaiplugin) which is cool but its open source so you can add/remove whatever you like and do it for any cfw.

either firmware combo'd with webman will work though
