PS3 Use SOP adaptor for dumping PS3's NOR chip

Hello,
I'm in the process of perfecting my soldering techniques to eventually teardown my PS5 and dump my flash to help our devs with research.


I'm currently learning on old PS3 boards, and since they come with no power supply, I was wondering if I could dump the flash without using E3 or with the system on. I'd like to desolder the chip, place it on a SOP adaptor, and wire everything to a Teensy off the system. Would that be possible?

And is this SOP56 board good to go:
