PS3 Very weird issue with my PS3 CFW

Hi guys, i'm basically new to this, now i've been using my PS3 for 1 year without a single issue with DEX FERROX 4.82 , but since sony has decided to roll out so many updated i went out to get 4.84 CEX REBUG since it was recommended on so many forums, now i've done everything fine with QATOGGLE and it was installed succesfully.. But the issue begins now!
Randomly the PS3 would start with 3 consecutives Beeps , and a blinking red light (this upon startup) , and if i click the button again, the PS would just shut-down and re-start normally , thus working just about fine.
I've check temperatures, and they're ok.. My webman keeps PS3 under 65*C , min fan is 40% , and while playng the last of us for a couple of hours , ps3 never reached more than 65, but the fan was at 80% constant.
I have also changed ps3 thermal paste and pads, a year ago, when i jailbraked it.
What can be the issue here?
I have installed 4.85 CFW to continue playng online, and it works, but the issue remains, sometimes completely randomly (once a week maybe), it will give me the 3beeps and blinking red lights..

PS: I'm using Overflow 4.85 now

Not sure if it happens under other conditions... but the 3 beeps happens when you press eject but there is no disc in the drive
This makes me think perhaps the problem in your PS3 is that you have a problem in the front panel buttons, or his ribbon cable (some PS3 models have that buttons integrated in the motherboard, and other doesnt)

Try to insert a disc, then turn off PS3... and turn on the PS3 wirelessly (with the dualshock 3)... if it ejects the disc at the time is booting i guess the eject button connections are unestables, it should not eject it :D

*Repeat several times just incase it happens a bit randomnly

Small update, when i press the disk button with the console off, there are 3 beeps, but the red light doesnt blink like in my issue here , so i think its something else

So, a couple of tries later... The issue is gone or it seems so, then why the custom fan speed was the problem? :D So strange.

What is your PS3 model? VER-001 mainboard based models (CECHLxx, CECHMxx, CECHPxx, CECHQxx) are known to have strange issues with the fan control...
