Hi, I have a PS3 slim that I've had for 7 years. It had a program called mamba and multiman (which already came installed on the console when I bought it). And worked fine, the last week, on the recommendation of a family member, We took the PS3 to a repair shop to update it and be able to install hen, play PSN games and play PS1/PS2 games. Also, to upgrade the HDD that the console had, from 140 GB to 500 GB.
The problem is that now the console has a weird beeping sound when I download a game or I played a game. It sound randomly and in some occasions, when the game freeze it does the beep sound.
Today, I was playing gran turismo 4 and the console made 2 beepings sounds and after 1-2 minutes it shut down, the on/button also have red blinking light. I wait 5 minutes and tried to turn on again de PS3 and is working fine.
I searched and the beeping sounds might be for overheating or maybe by the ylod problem, so, I'm scared that my PS3 can be broken.
Idk what to do, I'm thinking to Take it back to the repair site, but, before taking it there I didn't have these problems
