PS3 want to uninstall PS3HEN and wipe the entire HDD

so i just bought a used ps3, its cfw compatible, currently its running ps3hen and has some games.

i want to factory reset the whole console, i want everything gone and have a fresh ofw installed

what are the steps and are they safe?
