webMAN MOD

PS3 webMAN MOD - General Information Thread 1.47.48q

It's the http server

http server cannot be accessed:
- if Cobra / Mamba is disabled
- if boot_plugins.txt was deleted
- if you entered to Recovery Menu, which deletes boot_plugin.txt
- On HEN, if you have an empty boot_plugin.txt in root directory of USB device
- if the plugin crashed due a memory fault. e.g. if you are using an old version of webMAN on FW 4.90
- Hardware issues that prevent the plugin to create network socket to listen port 80

Maybe switching to debug version of Cobra and using socat to check the log could give a clue.
If I cannot reproduce the bug, it's difficult to fix.

I already updated with the previous files. I'll wait some days in case there are more changes.
It is very tedious to keep updating the packages with small changes.
Understandable. But I'm through my hole collection of PS1, PS2 and PS3 games now. That's where i discovered the last 7.

idk if that might help but here it is. I recorded footage of this occurance.
Thank you for the video footage. I did the same steps on my Evilnat 4.90 PEX, but I don't get the error message that you receive when I return to XMB.

That message is shown by wm_proxy when it cannot connect to the http server.

You could press select+start when you get the not ready error.
If the system information is not displayed then the plugin was not loaded for some unknown reason. Maybe a faulty HDD or due lack of memory.

I suggest that try installing a different edition, like the Lite edition that has a smaller memory footprint or try a different HDD.

Hello, let me help you with your problem. I had the same problem and I didn't understand why after launching a ps2 game I couldn't launch anything anymore, you have to use a real official controller, as stupid as it may seem, you'll see you can restart your games.
Thanks Aldo for your great work !

Ok so I did that and apparently it showed system info

Is there anyway to start certain PS2 games automatically with Full Screen scaling instead of Normal? Because only certain games support proper widescreen.

Use a permanent patch on the ps2iso

If I remember correctly, ManaGunZ can apply the wide-screen patch. Then you can use the patched game on any other backup managers.

I kinda don't want to modify my ISOs. I just want games that support widescreen to be started like that. Games like Burnout series have to be started with the 16:9 mode active to run in widescreen because the PS3 passes that setting to the PS2 emulator. Just like setting it in the PS2 system configurator.

If there is no such solution I'll just continue playing them in 4:3 letterbox.
