webMAN MOD

PS3 webMAN MOD - General Information Thread 1.47.48q

Finally got the latest update to list ps1 games properly by deleting the .bin in the tmp folder. Rebooting & setting memory to MAX, but now it no longer lists the PS3 games or installed PKG Apps though, is that normal?
Is there a way to make it list all games PS1,PS2 & PS3 but automatically exclude homebrew APPs via game id in wm_ignore.txt?

Prior to deleting the .bin myself I renamed it as .txt to see it's contents but it was blank, when I reset the console the file had either been hidden or deleted itself until I opened webmanmod setup again where it was created again for me to be able to delete it.

I updated to the most recent version of WMM recently but I've had 2 issues that I can't seem to figure out.
1. when I change the FPS counter configuration from "BOTH" to "CELSIUS" then hit save it doesn't seem to actually save, I get some random message that pops up and it just continues toggling between both C and F, it does this if I don't restart and if I do restart.
2. is more of a question, I saw in the most recent patch notes there's mention of an oc.html page, what exactly does this page do and how do I access it?
I'm on the most recent version of evilnat CEX 4.92

1. If you're having issue issues editing /dev_hdd0/tmp/wm_res/VshFpsCounter.yaml download the file to your PC, use the notepad editor to make the changes, then upload the file with FTP or replace the file using the File Manager.
2. oc.html is simply an alternative GUI for updating overclocking settings from a smartphone or tablet.
Use http://ip-address-of-your-ps3/oc.html to access it.

Thanks, the overlay is now working.
IDK why but the OC.html wasn't working for me before as well, now that appears to be working as well.

Hello everyone,
Im facing complete issues with ps3netsrv as it wont work at all, (cant see games, cant access net0 folder)

My PS3 is hooked up to the router via ethernet, my pc is on the same network as well.. both devices share same first 3 IP strings, same subnetmask and same default router

On the ps3 i enabled the scan for my PCs IP listed on the header box of the program, I click refresh i restart nothing changes. Sadly not even the folder will contain anything as it will just load forever and display "this page cannot be displayed". On PC I can enter the folder but it shows 0 files 0 dir...

On windows firewall i allowed the following for inbound and outbound for private public and domain
> TCP and UDP of 38008
> ps3netserver (cmd) and ps3netserver (gui)

Strangely enough when I first launched the program it never asked me for any firewall access when I clicked on start. Like that windows defender popup never appeared for me

On my router I enabled port forwarding for 38008 for TCP and UDP aswell

The netserver program just keeps on waiting for client. I was trying this on my CFW 2500 and I tried this on my CECHC with the same results.

Aldo and I extensively tried to trubleshot the cause but we couldnt figure it out sadly.

If anyone has had some good experience with netsrv, id be glad to know for some things to double check to make sure it works [emoji120]

UPDATE:
I fixed it! For some reason windows firewall kept blocking it even when I allowed both apps... It worked when I disabled the firewall. I added both the cmd and gui as allowed apps on the simpler menu [emoji16][emoji106]

HEN3.5.0, After installing 1.47.48p, even with dynamic fans, the screen will no longer go black when launching any homebrew. It seems that this problem that has been bothering everyone for a long time has finally been solved. Thanks to all developers!

The black screen issue with dynamic fan control is semi-random... it basically occurs if the fan speed is changed while the game is still loading, due the increase of CPU usage in this period. If the console is kept very cool, this issue is unlikely to occur.

A partial solution was implemented months ago in webMAN MOD, preventing a change of the fan speed during the first 15 seconds of in-game mode. This workaround should avoid 90% of the black screen occurrences, but it is not a definitive solution.
