Hello Guys. Help me because I have no strenght left. My console is PS3 FAT model No: CECHK04
Date Code: 8B System software version 4.90 original.
I've tried everything and either it doesn't show me the contents of the USB at all or it displays a message
that it doesn't need this version. What should I install on my system and in what order to make everything work?

All fat models are CFW compatible so you should go that route. While HEN is supported on fat consoles, CFW is superior and is the better choice for all models that support it.

If the USB disk does not show up (should show up in XMB on the music and video tabs) then it means it's not properly formatted. The PS3 only recognizes disks formatted as FAT32 MBR. Note that Windows will not allow you to format disks bigger than 32GB as FAT32. You will need a 3rd party program (e.g. Rufus) to format them in that case.
Since you're already on 4.90 then unfortunately you cannot flash the same version directly from XMB (you can only upgrade that way). Instead, first of all patch your system using bgtoolset as usual if you haven't done so already, then boot your PS3 into recovery mode and flash it that way.
Note that in recovery mode Bluetooth doesn't work so you'll need to connect your controller via USB. Only OEM PS3 controllers are guaranteed to work in recovery mode - 3rd party controllers may or may not work. PS4/PS5 controllers never work.
