What's Good??

How y'all doing? I go by various names online but here & Instagram i go by GodlyNigga. I've been a lurker for a while, dropping in to look for new homebrew apps, I used this site to help me setup my hard drive in my Phat PS2. Long story short since I've gotten help from this site i want to give back so I've created a few apps that are PSP related.

The first app is a new and improved version of PKGi that allows multimedia content to be downloaded directly to your PSP. This includes games, movies, TV shows, music, wallpapers, and emulators. It also has a built-in updater, so both PKGi and its catalogs can be updated directly from the PSP. The Catalog Builder and Catalog Publisher apps will be released later.

The second app is a Video Converter with a built-in downloader that supports YouTube and other websites. It can also convert non-protected DVDs and Blu-ray discs. Support for 18+ sites is included, but that feature is disabled by default and can only be enabled after confirming that you are 18 or older.

Once I get feedback from testers, I'll make any needed improvements before fully releasing the apps.

Tester Requirements

  • You must have a PSP Go, PSP Phat, or PSP Slim.
  • You must keep the apps private and not share them.
  • I'm looking for real feedback, including crashes, bugs, and any other issues you run into.
  • All bugs can be reported to me directly by DMing me here on PSX-Place or by email at [email protected].
If you're interested in testing, feel free to reach out.

PKGi does not have catalogs unless the user makes them. if your app comes with or downloads any files that will facilitate piracy, do not post or advertise it here.

"catalog publisher" sounds like something to share catalogs...that would not be welcome here either.

i sincerely hope that i am just misreading this.

No, the Catalog Publisher is designed for users to create and manage their own custom catalog lists. It does not include any copyrighted content.

The included text files are empty examples meant to show users how the catalog format works. The tool can be used for legitimate purposes, such as sharing homebrew applications, personal files, or other content the user has the rights to distribute.

The Catalog Publisher feature is simply meant to help users publish their own created catalogs using free file hosting, allowing updates to be delivered directly to the PSP.

If this is not allowed, I apologize, and I completely understand if the post needs to be removed.
