PS3 Which I should keep?

I currently have 4 ps3.
3 of them are 2504a\b, one is the superslim white model.
2504a: has been used for 47 days and the temperature of cpu and gpu is 60/74 after some use.
2504b 01: has been used for 40 days and the temperature of cpu and gpu is 61/68 after some use.
2504b 02: has been used for 25 days only but the temperatures are way higher, like 74/81.
The superslim, well I care less, I'm not sure with hen I can check how much has been used.

I would keep the one with less usage, but the temperatures are really bad, for sure the 2504a has been tampered since weird enough it has a 320gb hard drive.
I've watched on how to open the slim ps3 and change the thermal paste but I'm not confident I could do it without killing it so I won't do it.

Which ones I should keep in your opinion? I just need 2 of them that I will install a 1tb hard drive.

Thanks.

Changing the thermal paste is easy, but some caution is to be taken as there is surface tension between the heatsink and the IHS of the processors.

What's recommended is to use something long and flat, like a thin ruler, and put them between the heatsink and the IHS in order to break this surface tension and separate them without applying force to the motherboard.

Regarding which console to pick, all seem to be pretty good, with 2504b 01 being the best.

Take the least scratched one.

My method to break the bond is to partly unscrew both bracket holding screws and lightly tap them on the top.

Thank you for the advice.

Well I pratically need to disassemble all ps3, including ribbon cables, I mean I daily disassemble desktop computers but this sound more complicated.

Do you think the temperature is more important than the total usage of the console?

Slim and SuperSlim models have the best temps among all the PS3 variants, but it's worth taking care of the temps if you can.

But if you don't feel confident, try first with 2504b 02 as it already has the higher temps of them all.
