Why do i keep getting "Error: invalid number of arguments for encryption" on PS2ClassicsGUI?

I was hoping to get some PS2 games on my PS3, but when i try to encrypt an ISO (i was following the tutorial on here), it doesn't work, i get "Error: invalid number of arguments for encryption". There are no spaces in the name or the folder it is in. What do i do? am i doing something wrong?

there shouldn't be any spaces in the folder path either.

I didn't ever use the GUI but try close whole path with ". In example:

"C:\blabla test of space\blablabla\game.iso"

But theres no spaces in "PS2GAMES", what am i missing? Is it the "Ryans Computer" part?

most likely. the way to read spaces is with quotes. I'm not sure if you can do that with the gui though, so try no spaces.

Okay, i moved it, and it worked, i got the PKG of my game, but not the rap file, what did i do wrong? Does it generate one or do i have to download one?

Okay, since no one seems to respond as often because they are doing some other shit, i have more problems.
I am following the tutorial on this SITE.
i got the PKG and RAP file,
i CAN'T get the RIF file, if i drag the rap to the rifgen, it says "verify your files" which i dont know what to do.
Can someone like, add me on discord, so i don't have to deal with a reply every 24 hours?

Do you have your idps and actdat in with the resigner?

Most of us do this a a hobby and have families, jobs and a lot of other things going on that come first. You just have to be patient.

The error about the invalid number of parameters should be fixed in the build 2.2.1

I just compiled the source in the src folder in the download above and compiled it in raspbian using "make".
It seems to work but I do too have the "invalid number of arguments" too.

I tired:
./ps2classics e cex Half-Life.bin ISO.BIN.ENC Half-Life

Idk what else I'm supposed to add I'm totally lost

Try not having hyphens in your file name. Generally command line tools do not like spaces or special characters or really long paths. Just stick to real simple names and eliminate the possibility of that issue.

I am not sure if it will help in this case but its just good practice.

I tired taking out the hypens.
