nbgdhrv Forum Noob Mar 25, 2026 #1 I am using a chipped PS2 (PAL 500xx model) with GameStar network adaptor, and a 500GB SATA hard drive. For some reason I was able to install the FDHB via USB but I am not able to run the wLaunchELF. It only gives me a black screen. What should I do to fix this?

jolek Senior Member Mar 28, 2026 #4 It sounds like a modchip compatibility issue. Additionally try other FMCB\FHDB version. E.g. v1.953 or 1.965. Or maybe try (Other versions (especially for modchips)): https://www.psx-place.com/threads/f...free-harddisk-drive-boot-fhdb-by-sp193.20790/.
