not sure, if you install it (if it lets you) and the XMB freezes just re-install FW from Recovery/Safe Mode

before we reset the hits Mega was most popular :p (possibly because it was on top but anyways)

Every edit resets the hits on the link (but now i ran out of space for mirrors, but link #10 has some additional ones and if needed i think 5-9 can be removed as they are accessible from link 10.. but saves a few clicks on some.

Yeah I rename all mine too.
Try to keep things organised and avoid a potential drama by flashing the wrong thing! :)

I wouldn't reupload them like that however!
Just looks "sus"

I can see renaming on your hdd for your own personal use, but if your uploading for other I feel it should stay the same as all the other d/l links as it could just cause confusion
besides this build was named Starbucks by the dev that released it

works with update debug. u don't even need the .pup extension. as per the op, waves and coldboots shouldn't be affected. however, rco files, including a gameboot, may cause a system freeze if it's not up-to-date as they're encrypted with later keys or revised with the app loader. coldboots should always work from 3.xx to 4.xx. however, waves have a different header with 3.xx and 4.xx. the header changes with each fw on 3.xx, but it's the same with all 4.xx fw.

Hmm, I've never used the XMB update, I always just put the one I want onto the USB and rename it then flash from recovery.
Saves me having to (or forgetting to) disable internet etc. :)

yeah I drop the .pup and the version number (4.65,4.70) with updater. rco have been changed (some of them) as I rebuilt them for REBUG with the new PSN (Playstation Network) icon changed red.
