  After considering the reports of some users, alexander updated version 1.01.   INSTALLING THE CFW:
  
  • Download the CFW at the bottom. Rename the File .pup exactly: PS3UPDAT.PUP and confrontatene the 'MD5 with what you find at the bottom! You can use the Tool md5sums.
  
  
  • Take a USB FAT32 formatted, and create a new folder called PS3, inside this create another 'other still called UPDATE, and inside latter' inseriteci the PS3UPDAT.PUP File, which would be the custom firmware.
  
  
  • Insert the USB in the far right of the PS3 port.
  
  
  • Be sure to: Remove any disc from the player Ps3, Remove any games loaded with any Manager, Disable Internet Connection.
  
  
  • Ok. You can choose to install the CFW from the XMB or from Recovery.
  
  
  • On the XMB will just go into 'Settings' column, then 'System Upgrade' and choose 'With storage media'. Select the CFW and will start the process.
  
  
  • To enter Recovery Instead, turn off the console. Turn it back on by holding down the Power button until the console is turned off again. Now turn it back on by holding down the Power button until you hear two beeps very close. Then release the Power button! Recovery time from the menu, select 'System Update' and follow the instructions.
  
  
  • For a clean installation, you can install 2 times the CFW. You can also go back into Recovery and click Options for Rebuilding the Database and Restore the System File. So you'll have a setup more than clean and safe.

I looked in webMAN settings I must have missed that. Also do you have the link for the commands that is available for the custom combo again? My Google-Fu searching sucks today as I know I made a topic about this before if I recall.

All web commands can be used in the custom combo.

Btw for info there is the custom combo r2+[] which can be set in the wMM setup page or manually by editing the file in /dev_hdd0/tmp/wmtmp folder but all combos can actually be customised. Look at "custom" tab related to this on the thread linked above.

God, u guys r too good. u'll have to take up my stuff. I don't plan to help iso or repack members at all with any system, not saying this member is either. I don't help either member of a site that banned me.

Hello, i when from firmware OFW 3.05 TO this CFW 4.81 v1.01+ and i see the logo at the start and under Game i see */app_home/PS3_GAME and *Package Manager, i go in to this one and see 8Install Package Files, but i can get any pkg file to show up from the SD card. can i get some help, i have an 2g sd card in FAT32 and the PKG's or in the root. still cant see them.

u've got to understand that I'm under a lot of stress. my entire time in the ps3 scene has been about helping others. I need some help atm with my disability. Never mind fk it i had to install like 3 different CFW just to be able to downgrade to 3.55. Dont use this if you have an ceche01 80g it will not work. And stick with CEX. Again thank for the help even tho it was not much.

 

I'm still awake but very tired. once I get around my alcohol problem, I won't be signing in anymore. that will be resignation. I had hoped I could have been as staff, but that's not going to happen. I'm done with the tutorials. so I'll leave them as is. I care more about the wii-u and its games than I do about sony. I'll probably leave before the end of the year. I hid some alcohol and it's majorly fucked me up, but I'm given a quota to quit. You should try to get help from a professional, but the first step for treatment is in yourself (changing your lifestyle).

Read information about treatments and practice some sport (alone or with someone), these usually help.

Medication and drugs do not treat depression, merely the symptoms.
