As the title says, I have issues with installing PKG's on my PS3 slim 4.87HFW.
After installing the firmware, I installed HEN enabler, Multiman and PKGi with no problems (with the help of the YT tutorial from MrMario)
After that I tried to install [a pirate store] using package manager (like I did MultiMan and PKGi), and the installation finishes but the icon does not appear anywhere on the XMB.
I tried to find them in other directories using Multiman but it was not anywhere.
After that I tried installing some other homebrew like [another pirate store], HAN toolbox or [a third pirate store] and the same thing happened.
The XMB icons do flicker after installation once like they are refreshing but nothing appears.
I tried to install a game using PKGi, and the same thing happens.
Today I tried to install some emulators like NEStopia or Gambatte form Brewology and the icons do show up but after I run the program I get an error.
I hoped to play some good old PS3 games during this pandemic so I hope you guys can help me with this issue.
