it seems many HAN users are convinced that it is safer to use than HEN. (i am not sure if they all want to play online or not.)

i have explained that PS3 spys on you and HEN can block that, fan control is important, yadda, yadda, yadda. they are content, i suppose.

neither of both are 100% bulletproof. HAN by its own is obsolete now, If you want to stay up to date you should switch to HEN

tbh, the mod builder was more or less made for modifying existing cfws and I still have not found time to check and correct errors. there is definately some problem with lv0tool and isobuilder, which I have encountered with my 1400A

I am still really demotivated doing anything besides playing on my vita

just saying, but for "quick" lv2 dump, you could manually patch lv2 and just load it on any lower cfw and make dump. this will work fine

Tried that and got the same error :( I don't know what to do anymore, I tried searching the forums and didn't find a solution, although a lot of people have problems with that code. Do you want to talk via email or an app so I can send you an easier video or picture of the problems and what do I do?

I have a banned ps3, I have noticed that when I turn it on it automatically warns me that I cannot access psn. It only does it connected to the internet, the ideal would be to know what data is being sent since it could mean large-scale bans
I leave this information as a report, maybe it could be of help

try using "System Update Debug".

here is a quote from my guide... (enable hen first!)

You can store up to 20 PUP files on the hard drive for easy installation with System Update Debug. This will also disable online updating so it can be enabled just to help prevent accidental updates on CFW (HEN blocks online firmware updates on its own).

The setting is found in the Debug Settings Menu. This menu is always on in some CFWs but others and HEN can find it using a button combo. Highlight the Network Settings icon (do not open the menu). Press all the following buttons at the same time:

:dir down: :but l1: :but l2: :but r1: :but r2: :but l3:​
If you did it correctly, Edy Viewer, Debug Settings, and Install Package Files should now appear below Network Settings. (Leave Edy Viewer alone and use your normal package manager instead of this one. Just use the Debug Menu). Find System Update Debug and enable it.

There will now be new options under System Update. Anytime you install a PUP from USB, you will have the option of copying it to the hard drive at the same time. You can also use a file manager or ftp to copy PUPs without having to install them yet. Save them to dev_hdd0/updater/01 with whatever filenames you want to use.

Hello everyone, last night I tried to login to my psn account, but it said I needed to update my ps3 first, and Hen did not let me do it. I didn´t know what to do, couldn´t find the help I needed so I downloaded the update 4.88, installed it manually in my ps3 and as a consequence I lost my Hen, but the games are still there.
My question is, can I just reinstall Hen now that my ps3 is updated, with the same files that I used before (4.87)? Or do I need to update Hen somehow too? Any help is apreciated, oh and I know almost nothing about Hen

install new HFW 4.88 and then new HEN 3.0.3

Installation:

I did everything as it says there, everything was fine, the error was always 66%, When I wanted to install I activated the option "save update data in the system storage", this time I reached 71%: (again the same error.
before pressing "x" to update there are 2 more options, marked with a star,
"update via system storage"
"delete update data on system storage"
but they cannot be selected

Hice todo como dice allí, todo estuvo bien, el error siempre fue del 66%,
Cuando quise instalar activé la opción "guardar datos de actualización en el almacenamiento del sistema", esta vez llegué al 71% :(nuevamente el mismo error.

These options are only enabled if you have PUP files in the dev_hdd0/updater/01/ folder.

If you update via USB you will see a new option to copy the PUP to HDD for future use. Or you can manually copy files to dev_hdd0/updater/01/ via FTP or a file manager.
