PS3 4.92.2 update

Hi could I get some help please formatted a g4 datatraveler usb to fat32 for new 4.92.2 update but ps3 says no applicable update data was found have on root as follows: PS3/UPDATE/PUP file.thanx

did you rename the .pup file? it needs to be called PS3UPDAT.pup

PS3UPDATE.PUP also make sure that the drive is MBR not GPT

Or none partition table, that is also supported.

Thanks for reply thinking maybe it's my usbs as tried 2 ordered new 1s will see if that works....(update) was my other usb sticks ,thankx to those who replied
