hello, I'm writing through a translator, I think it will be better this way) I have a ps3 cechc 04, when I bought it it turned on after the 10th time, and turned off in games, or when the cooler was turned on, I immediately did a delid, replaced the paste everywhere, but the shutdowns remained, read the syscon log - there were errors A0801001, A0801002, most often 1002, after researching this issue (some posts and videos by Felix also helped, special thanks for that) I replaced 4 nec/tokin from the bottom of the board, I installed 3x470uf 2.5v it helped, the console turns on the first time, games like gta 4 and gta 5 work for hours, I played the last of us for 40 minutes - without shutdowns, loading games, installing - no problems, I drove it for 6-7 hours turned on in different scenarios - okay, but there is one but: gran turismo 6 - I can't even finish the tutorial, far cry 3 also crashes the console when there is a dialogue before the first exit to the settlement, I also caught the crash in bully (ps2), today I added 3x22uf 10v and 3x10uf 10v to the tantalums for each replaced tantalum, it worked a little longer in the same games, but as a result it's still 1002, please tell me, do I need to change those nec/tokin that are on the top side of the board near the chips, or is this some other problem? Thank you very much in advance, have a good day)

Most likely, unfortunately, the NEC TOKINs you left on the board are faulty - at least that's what it looks like. Leave the tantalums you've already installed and add some more! Good luck, and let me know if the console finally comes back to life

thanks for the answer, I'll definitely post back if there's any result

I have an update: today I removed all the capacitors I soldered instead of nec/tokin near the rsx (2 on the bottom side of the board, I didn't touch the top ones, there are still tokins there) changed the configuration by adding another tantalum capacitor, i.e. it was 3x470uf and became 4x470uf + 3 mlcc 22uf + 3 mlcc 10uf and this gave a certain result, with 3x 470uf gran turismo 6 didn't even pass the tutorial, yesterday I added 6 mlcc, the tutorial passed, but in the race it still crashes, today after my suffering I was able to play gt6 for an hour, I even passed the novice championship - without a crash, it's too early to rejoice, I need to test more, but at least this is progress, I hope this information helps someone, after some time, I will add the results of my tests here, also read my post, it will become clearer why I got stuck on gt6, have a good day)

I have some good news: today I tested Gran Turismo 6 (turned on the demo for 2 hours 20 minutes and played for 40 minutes, then immediately played The Last of Us for 40 minutes, XMB for 10 minutes and took a log, thank God, there were no new errors, freezes, or shutdowns, I hope this is a good sign, and I hope this information will be useful to someone, and you will also be able to restore your consoles, have a nice day)

I have an update: today I resoldered the capacitor configuration on the CPU, making it the same as on the RSX, there was no reason for this, I just wanted to, I'll attach a photo below, there are no new problems yet, the console has already gone through two days of 3-4 hours of gameplay in Gran Turismo 6 and The Last of Us and GTA 4, GTA 5, God of War Ascension (not for hours yet, but I played for 40 minutes) now I have Gran Turismo 6 turned on in demo mode CPU 67 RSX 67 Fan 35 for 40 minutes, I drove one race myself, the rest is in demo mode. what was done with the board: 1) delid 2) replacing the thermal paste under the cover and above the cover 3) replacing the 4 lower nec/tokin 0e128 with 4x470uf 2.5v + 3x 10uf 10v mlcc + 3x 22uf 10v mlcc instead of each nec/tokin, then again tests, cleaning the case, replacing the thermal paste again, replacing the thermal pads, replacing the cmos battery, servicing the sixaxis, 3D printing the cover for the card reader, I have a revision of the cechc04 console, I have it) and so far it seems that everything, if there are any updates - I will add them here, have a good day) I hope this information helps someone) and in general I highly recommend watching the rip-Felix video before repairing, it was from him that I learned a lot of new things, also a good channel amature hardware repair (if I misspelled the channel name - sorry, I'm writing on memory)
