PS3HEN Bricked Ps3 Super Slim With HFW 1.88

I am really distraught and disappointed in myself, just two days ago, my brother bought me as a graduation present for my university degree, a ps3 super slim model CECH-4311C, I personally unlocked it by HEN using HFW 1.88 (link of the post where i found the HFW) , all good , i even played some games, until we came up with the damn idea of installing the homebrew "whats new on psx-place" without meaning to, we gave it ok and in the end the console does not accept anything, try to use a flash drive formatted in fat32 and with the HFW update itself, but nothing, try recovery from recovery mode, and nothing, the HEN logo appear, the healthy message appear and then the black screen "


we both really wanted to be able to play some games together and now we have nothing :(


I'm really begging for some form of help, I already tried to swap hard drives, use different pen drives of different brands with the same original file that I used... I don't know what to do anymore

enter recovery (safe) mode and try option 6 to install hfw again. then install hen if it works.

To enter Safe Mode:
  1. Begin with the PS3 turned off. The power light should be red.
  2. Press and hold the power button untill the PS3 beeps three times and shuts down again. The power light should be red again.
  3. Press and hold the power button again. You will hear a beep, then another beep, then a double beep. Let go of the power button after the double beep.

Hi, i tested many times failed many methods, but finally i found something:

i have kingston, lexar and some unknow label chinese usb and no one of they works with the super slim, the console just not read the UPDATE folder, not in recovery or normal in XMB

but a SanDisk Cruzer POP 8GB works fine and in one instant the system is operative again and fine.

curious but maybe this info could be useful in future
