PS3 CECH-2004A DYN-001 Strange semi GLOD issue

Hi

I've got this console having a strange issue. It will show green ligh and no image. I got it connected on uart

Afther that the green led will be on for around 1 minute. At this time any uart command will return

After a minute the fan will start to spin and uart commans are once again working so

At this time connecting controller will make a led 1 blink probably controller is charging

Regarding the power button I'm unable to get it to go into the recovery mode or do a video reset as in the first minute while it is stuck it will not respond to power button. The console does not have HDD nor BD drive installed while testing these. I also does now have AV cable so I am unable to test if it will give image on composite output. But what worries me is the 1 minute delay on boot.

What am I supposed to try next. I have a suspicion that it might be either the HDMI IC, Corrupt NOR or issue with RSX
 
I Believe MN8647091 is shorter. I'm measuring the short on the biggest smd film capacitor near the IC. The rail which goes to pin 4 of the ic is shorted to ground. I did test by pouring 98% alcohol on the chip. When turned on it gets hot in the middle of the ic which can be seen from alcohol evaporation.

The other thin that worries me is that I'm getting 5V from the voltage regulator. It this one supposed to work with 5V ?
 
That's exactly the same problem that my other PS3 Slim have... it has the 1 minute boot, can't boot to recovery mode or do video reset, it can't play PS2 games brought from PS Store, it stays in a black screen if i boot without HDD or with other HDD, and the image only shows up in my old CRT TV after that 1 minute. My friend also has this problem and i see more people showing up on other forums with the same symptoms.
 
Yes not sure which was, a superslim was like that and considering I've measured everything around those ic both AV/Hdmi both seem fine but I exchanged and unit started, this unit in first place was as ylod. Still working, been tested by my brother since 2 weeks. So probably best exchange both. Try find a board with a more damaged parts as cpu like where it does not worth recovering by reball something like lower then 3 ohms cpu out of board.

Please do an UART inspection before considering as same issue.
 
I am sorry I can't say that is a issue for av/Hdmi ic by assuming without those error codes displayed. If there was nothing like uart diagnostic, I was porting rsx to another working board in order to understand what is wrong with faulty motherboard. There are many reasons you can not assume. I cannot advise to do this, is your choice to understand.

I fully understand, maybe i'll take my ps3 someday to an person that i know to try check what the problem is or even trade it for another console, thanks though
 
I've desoldered the HDMI IC from the console. The console now boots without 1 minute delay. I'm ordered a replacement chip from AliExpress it will take some time for the chip to arrive. In the meantime I ordered AV cable to check if I'm gonna get the image with the composite output.

Can you send a pic of this chip in the board ? just to check where and how it looks like
