PS3 cechc03 frankenstein RSX 65nm

I've just carried our my first Frankenstein attempt, it all seemed to go well.

  • I've installed a 65nm RSX
  • I've carried out the resister mod
  • I've amended the syscon
  • I haven't carried out the voltage mod yet
Turning on the console gives me GLOD, no controller detection, but it will charge

This is my syscon log, if anyone has any ideas, thanks

Hey, I had this problem last week. In my case, one resistor on the Rsx was loose. IT had to desolder when I was pulling Rsx from the board, so check resistors on the Rsx, if your resistor mod is ok

Thanks for your reply, I'll check the resistors on top of the rsx.

I will need to delid the rsx first, I installed the it with the IHS still on, hopefully it's as simple as a loose/missing resistor.

I now found the problem, I knocked a resistor off during the install of the 65nm RSXIMG_2080.jpeg
