Hello! I've finally gotten around to diagnosing my dad's old cecha01 that had a ylod like 10 years ago. Because I'm not the greatest at soldering, I ended up lifting the RX pad needed to use the syscon. I scraped away at the trace and soldered the wire to it and assuming it was fine, it wasn't and I couldn't auth in even after doing both upper and lower case, as well as switching around the wires. Would anyone be able to tell me if I'm even scraping at the right trace? I'm confident that I can just wire my diagnostic cable to the bare trace to get an error code off of this thing but I just don't know if I'm at the right trace and if I'm screwed. Thank you
Not only did the pad come up, pretty much the entire trace attached to the pad up until that small chip did :\ On the left is the trace I tried to solder my wire to (I'm unsure if it's the trace to the RX pad or not) and on the right is the pad and missing trace.
