Wow, I haven't updated Netflix for such a long time because I didn't feel like putting the time in it to use it without psn...
I will update to official as soon as my DSL line is up again :)

I don't know why, but for some reason lately I've been having issues with the NoPSN Twitch application (Twitch-v1.07-[NPEB02359]-NoPSN). I tried reinstalling the package, and also tried the other two NoPSN versions from that folder (NPHB and NPUP, both NoPSN) and I get the same result.

The application launches, however the thumbnails on the main page are blank, and no matter what channel I try, the stream never loads but just continues to show the buffering icon. Also, when I try to login, it says to input the number on screen into a smartphone or PC browser; however no number appears. Logging in isn't a priority, though.

Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas what could be causing this issue? I'm using Rebug REX 4.82.2, in case that's relevant. Any input would be much appreciated. :)
 
@Coldheart2236 I noticed the same problem with Twitch some time ago and ended up deleting the app. It doesn't seem to be supported anymore on PS3. I found some info and a supposed fix https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/amp....s/8j0ojs/twitch_app_not_working_right_on_ps3/ but it didn't work when I tried.

@esc0rtd3w I don't suppose you have a no PSN version 'TV from Sky' (uk) app? I found 'Sky Ticket' and tried/installed the 'Sky Online' app but guess it's the Sky service/app in another region. Sorry to trouble you and thanks for everything.

@ZeroOne Thanks for the link - I'll take a look and see if I can get it to work. A work-around is watching the Twitch.tv plugin in Movian, however the A/V always seems to be out of sync for me and I've not been able to find a way to remedy that.

NoPSN means the apps were patched so users do not need to connect to PSN in order to use them.

Most nopsn apps cannot be used on HAN because binaries had to be resigned after patching & they are no longer officially signed.
Only a few nopsn apps can be used with HAN, those that don't require binary file patching but rather js or other unsigned files.
 
I recently installed All4-v1.02-[NPEB01271]-NoPSN, and have been unable to get anything to play. Thumbnails are shown correctly, as are adverts/commercials which usually play before the video in a web browser; however I keep getting this error screen at the end of the advertisements.

Could it be an issue with it being an outdated version? v1.05 is the current latest official version available. If a 1.05 NoPSN app for All4 isn't possible, then is there a way to get content to play in the current v1.02 NoPSN version? I noticed that there are other versions in the All 4 MEGA folder. I'm on the latest Rebug REX and was wondering if there'd be a way to get either the DEBUG package or the SPRX-Enabled package in that folder to play the All4 content correctly.

Any help or advice would be much appreciated. :)

thanks. i will check out new version. i have been trying to go through and update them. if any others are outdated, you can post them, if i miss them.

i can re-add the Debug and SPRX versions, but those are for devs basically, for debugging

EDIT:

i forgot, that app is also Geographically Region Locked, so that may be the problem as well.

i have the new pkg downloaded, ill patch it

If I come across any other apps that have updates, I'll make sure to post them.

In fact, I recently downloaded and installed Plex-v1.01-[NPEB02214] after reading about its features; and despite also reading that no PSN sign in is required, it for some reason prompts for login with no way to avoid doing so. I tried the NPEB package for my region in this MEGA folder as well as downloading and installing it via My Channels on the XMB.

Plex v1.01 is still the latest version, however PSN now seems to be required in order to use it. I know Plex is a popular, still supported app for the PS3, so thought it worth mentioning here as other users may be experiencing the same issue.
 
patching the 1.05 All4 EBOOT with old patch does not work anymore :(

i will load it into IDA sometime this weekend and check it out

YouTube HAN/OFW NoPSN FREEZE TEST

this is a hybrid/mashup, including newer fonts & ssl certs added. i have been using it for over an hour with no issues

if anyone wants to test on HAN console to check for freezing, and report back results

@esc0rtd3w I love you man :D this is a blessing, the only thing that has tempted me to update my SS to 4.83 was to use Crunchyroll again, now that it's working there's nothing to worry about, I don't care if I have to wait till the ps3 servers are shut down, will wait patiently.

Excuse me, can someone upload the lastest YouTube app for HAN on mega and put the link over here? My browser always give me a "Network Error" when i try to download the link in here :ambivalence:
 
I think is my internet connection, i'm in a country with really bad internet haha. And i already try to download from the nopsn official page but it still give me that error. With any browser or device i use, the download fails or repeat itself from 0 and never end to download. So if someone can give me another alternative i will be very thankfull!

there must be something that triggers when annotations and overlays popup on videos

it would need checked with debugger or using COBRA on PS3 to find a potential workaround or add a missing resource it is looking for

i have watched several videos that play fine sequentially, without overlays
