PS4 Deal with PS4Pro!HELP!

Hello,
I'm looking for help on the following:

I have a possible deal with a PS4 Pro model CUH-7216B.
I read topics and YT videos and this is the latest PS4 Pro to come out in Europe, right?

The thing is the system is on OFW 12.00.
Now I know jailbreak only goes to 11.00.
Most PS4 Pros I find online in my area are either updated to 12.00 and/or are older models (CUH-70xxx/71xxx).

I've seen videos/posts that there might be a chance to revert the OFW from 12.00 to previous installed OFW.
Would like to know more about this.
Also, I suspect the system I'm looking into is most likely on Auto-Updates. So if this is the case even if I could revert the OFW from 12.00 to a previous one it with would never be 11.00, right?

Lastly would like to know if there's a timeline for a jailbreak for 12.00.
I wouldn't mind holding to this PS4Pro on 12.00 for a while until a jailbreak for it comes out.

Everywhere I look for a deal are beaten off older models and even these ones are on latest OFW.

Any suggestion on what to do?

There is no timeline for a jb on PS4. 12.00 could be tomorrow or never. There's a couple firmwares between 11.00 and 12.00, so the chance it was updated from 11.00 to 12.00 is probably small.
 
Reverting means swapping banks between last and current. Between 12.00 and 11.00 was at least one version. You do not have confidence that older was on 11.00. Besides that, it needs soldering.

No, updates aren't automatic if you turn that option off (by default is on) or put console in sleep where such setting is... ignored.

Jailbreaking PS4 is nearly pointless. What you can do on hacked PS4 is decrypting saves, getting half drive encryption key (nearly useless because majority of contents are closed in encrypted containers or signed which using per console SAMU keys) and of course game backups which are extremely annoying to get decrypted fully with proper keystone for saves (plus it is enormous waste of time; pirate games however have zeroed keystone and often not decrypted trophies and/or all updates). IDPS also cannot be read fully. Interesting advantage is maybe 60fps patches and other cheats possible to apply.

Scene on PS4 is still in orphanage stage, not ready for John Doe usage. Just my three cents.
 
yeah, the option to turn off downloading of updates is broken on the ps4. a friend of mine even had his system install the firmware while it was in rest mode with the option off. the option actually seems to work on the ps5 though, because I disabled downloading/installing firmware while in rest mode, because I use sleep mode a lot, and it kept kicking me out of games. I have no intention of hacking my ps5, so I do try to keep up-to-date, on my time only; ;)

I just want to download PS4 games and play for free.
I can't do that with a JB PS4Pro? With not much bullshit...
Like I do with my PS3 which I still use to this day.
I don't have the enormous amount of money charged for games.
I NEVER could've played (and still play) the games on my PS3 even on second/third hand market...

sorry, can't help with piracy related questions. the ps4 is far different from the ps3, not only its architecture, but also how to hack it. you don't have the freedom like you do on the ps3.
