DESR-7500 Disc not spinning

Friend, sorry I wrote it wrong, I was reading the post and I got 28 in my head, but 28 is the number of the drive that has the sf-db11. My laser is the sf-db11 T14. About audio, I don't have audio coming out of the RCA connection or when I connect a peripheral to line 1 or 2, I only have video. But I'll check the ribbon cables.

The drive board is just a normal PSX2 drive board. Never heard of a "SF-DB28" laser. Can you post a picture of the laser from several angles, including the stickers at the bottom?

About the lack of audio output: check the FFC connections between the main board and the video i/o board.

I found a T09 sf-db11 laser and it was compatible with my 7700. Original was T05. Test on my 5700 and it worked too. The original laser of the 5700 was T14. I found this laser in the sony dvd recorder drive Sony DRU-710A
