PS3 Downgrading from CFW Evilnat 4.92.2 to OFW 3.15 still works?

For personal enjoyment and to try out Sony's OtherOS, I would like to downgrade my PS3 FAT from Evilnat 4.92.2 to OFW 3.15.
Does anyone have experience using QA flags? In theory:
1-I enable them
2-I go into recovery mode
3-I install 3.15 OFW
Minimum version 1.50 for my FAT
Is there anything I should know?
Thanks

Make sure that you have QA flags enabled, and then install OFW 3.15 PUP as usual (via Debug Update or USB stick).

If you can't install it through XMB, you could try installing the PUP in Recovery Mode.

Probably you'll need to go to 4.21 for example first then 3.xx, otherwise it will throw you an error.

Thanks, I don't know why I didn't consider 3.16.

So I'll try to downgrade directly from 4.92 to 3.16, both from the software update menu in the XMB settings section and from recovery.
If I get an error, I'll go to Rebug 3.55.4.

I don't know the "debug update" function. I need to learn more about it because it could be useful?

Thanks everyone, I managed to downgrade to the OFW I needed:

1) From Evilnat 4.92.2 PEX, I activated the QA flags.
2) From the PS3 recovery menu, I installed Rebug 3.55.4 REX.
3) I installed Rebug toolbox to check that the QA flags were active (they were, so this step was unnecessary).
4) From the recovery menu, I installed 3.15 OFW

As you said, if you try to go from 4.92 to 3.15, the PS3 gives an error and you can't complete the operation.
