Hello all,
I need some advice about my console. My DECHA00A shows the above error. I can't reconstruct the cause of the error, exactly why it happened, but right now I just have a fat paperweight. Basically the error always came at 2-5%.
I wanted to switch from an HDD to an SSD and had installed REBUG 4.82 DEX (or 4.78, I'm unsure here). Target firmware was 4.84. After the HDD swap nothing worked. The console doesn't boot into the XMB anymore (console goes off after about 30 seconds) and I only get into recovery mode when I format one of my hard drives on the PC. Technically the console is 1A. condition. The drive works, the console has new chips to prevent a YLOD. But the problem is that no matter which firmware I use, it comes to the error.
I tried the following:
- different noBD firmwares (drive removed).
- different DEX Firmwares 4.80+ (Pasta / REBUG / OFW DEX)
- FSM with the data for DEX (greetings go to
@MinaRalwasser out), though here I'm unsure what it failed on. Normally the console should shut down after running and create a LOG file, but that doesn't happen. I used a PSP as a JIG for this and at some point also bought a PSJailbreak, which probably shouldn't have any firmware on it, which can't be checked (?) (where at the moment I own a new console and could test the JIG then or not?) and there are no flash tools for this thing anymore.
The only thing that would come to mind here is to disassemble the console and dump the NAND and (if it is possible) rewrite the chip (?)
Anyone else have any ideas on what I could try? I really don't want to give up on the console, even though I already have a new DECHA00A. The thing should live and should be equipped with OFW DEX again.
Greetings from Germany.
