exFAT and NTFS files use the same file extensions:
- .ntfs[PS3ISO]
- .ntfs[PS2ISO]
- .ntfs[PSXISO]
- .ntfs[PSPISO]
Now returning to the issue: There are many possible causes of the "Error" message. That's why it is not specific.
Some of the possible causes (not necessarily all) are:
1- The USB port could have been changed from the original port where the game was scanned.
2- The ISO image stored in the exFAT drive could be too fragmented. This causes that the .ntfs[PSXISO] cannot hold all the sectors and the disc image fails to mount. This is solved defragmenting the disk or copying the file again.
3- The .ntfs[PSXISO] could have been corrupted by multiMAN which uses prepNTFS. It uses the same file extension than prepISO, but a different file format. This issue is solved using multiMAN MOD instead of the original multiMAN.
4- The ISO file could be corrupted due bad sectors, overwritten or modified mistakenly.
My suggestions are:
1- Delete /dev_hdd0/tmp/wmtmp and re-scan the games again.
2- Install multiMAN MOD to avoid the conflicts that cause multiMAN with webMAN MOD.
3- If the error persists, try with a different disk or pendrive. If possible, try with NTFS too.
Unfortunately this issue seems to be specific to
@cha0shacker system. I tested a couple of PSX games in my PS3 using the latest build of webMAN MOD and they were mounted fine from NTFS and exFAT.
