PS3HEN flashing green light (incomplete shutdown-PS3HEN)

Hello
At this time i have a PS3 Slim (3000 series) with 4.82 OFW (PS3HEN is installed), after playing ISO game from eternal HDD (NTFS) and deciding to shutdown console, i see flashing green light and console won't shutdown completely.
also i have unistalled webMAN MOD.
what should i do? it's almost annoying to turn off console with holding power button for about 10 seconds or more.

I assume you meant PS3HEN (Not HAN )


Never faced the problem. As i did not use any external HDD.


Have you tried using irisman to load games?
Did you install latest HEN version?

Why still on 4.82?

try to reinstall firmware and install hen again fresh start and see if that can resolve your issue

i have 4.82 OFW with PS3HEN 2.2.2
excuse me, should i upgrade to 4.84?

Sorry I mean PS3HEN, i mostly use irisman to load PS3ISO Games.
i have installed 2.2.2.
is 4.84 better than 4.82?
i have 4.8.2 OFW

But being uptodate is always recommended..


I mean. The latest webman mod is compatible with 4.84 HFW.

there is even unofficial multiman for 4.84 HFW..

Besides. There is no reason to still use 4.82


If this problem really annoy you.

You can install 4.84 HFW ( not OFW )

and use latest webman mod. Load games from webman mod and see if probelm persist

There is no need to.

Just download HFW and put it in USB and install it

4.84 is suggested as it's more throughly tested. Also ensure you have the latest manager installed. I have all three main ones and webMAN full installed issue free on my 3001 model. Solid as a rock

I have done this things (almost):
i have removed HDD from ps3 and checked that with pc, HDD seems good or fine, and i have turned on ps3 without HDD and after a few moments i have turned that off. after checking ps3 HDD with pc i have installed that again and i have turned on console, also i have installed webMAN MOD again. the flashing green light problem is gone (at this time). also my console have exited from looping to something like this:
The system wasn't turned off properly the last time it was used.

so i don't know correctly why but it seems at this time that's solved?
excuse me this is not related to here:
i have question about webMAN MOD, i can't access to webMAN MOD through browser when i have connected to Internet with ps3 but if i disable ps3 connection to Internet from setting i can access to webMAN MOD from ps3 browser.

i haven't updated ps3 FW yet.

OK I solve the issue installing unofficial multiman completely shutdown Ps3. ..previously I used iris man....hope it will help other too...

I think I've only ever gotten this once. I use 4.84 HFW and latest everything.

I avoid pressing power button as much as I can. I turn on PS3 by PS button. I turn off PS3 by holding PS button. Other times I just use the XMB Option 'Turn off this System'

I'm my XMB or my game is frozen. I use WebMAN Mod to /restart.ps3, WebMAN Mod also has a /shutdown.ps3

If all else fails -- I still don't press the power button. I pull the cord.

I do not installed any webmod just unofficial multiman .....i read somewhere pull the cord will create error on your hard disk and damage your ps3 ....thats why i uninstalled irisman i dont want to brick my ps3 ......
